I was slightly upset, thinking he was going to have another go at me re unchargeable hours on my timesheet, but it turned out he was ringing me to inform me of my pay rise. I do indeed get a payrise, £1800 to be precise :) That's well above inflation so I've got nothing to complain about and apparently those people graded three are only getting a couple of hundred more.
